- Non-academic users, who have been granted access by the CMI director, are charged **Commercial Rates**.
- Users from non-academic institutions will *need to provide a PO number* before access.
- The commercial rate includes an additional Facilities and Administration Fee (F&A Fee) which goes to HMS to cover a portion of the facilities and administration costs for the CMI space and a commercial add-on fee.
- **Resident Harvard Life Lab companies** are offered a *25% discount off the standard commercial rates*.

- **Access fees** are billed hourly or daily, depending on the instrument.
- **Training fees** are charged ***per user*** per instrument. [Training](/training "Training") is small group (1-4 trainees).
