The CMI offers **Training and Access** on analytical and preparative protein liquid chromatography instruments and select **Data Collection Services**.

[Preparative chromatography](/fast-protein-liquid-chromatography "Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC)") on the AKTA Pure FPLC system with fraction collector, is used for protein purification by size-exclusion chromatography and ion-exchange chromatography.

[Analytical chromatography](/analytical-chromatography-fsec "Analytical Chromatography - fSEC") on the single-pump Agilent Infinity 1260 HPLC system with autosampler and detectors for UV fluorescence, is used for rapid small-scale analytical size-exclusion chromatography of proteins.
