Access and Training Fees
All users are charged fees for training and access to CMI instruments and for CMI services. Rates are reviewed biannually and posted here. Fees are determined based on the primary institution (institution paying invoices) of the user's Principal Investigator.

About
- Access fees are billed hourly or daily, depending on the instrument.
- Rates are billed by booked time and by real-time usage in excess of booked time.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid booking fees.
- An instrument training fee is charged per user per instrument.
- Training may be individual or in small groups (2-4 people), as scheduling allows.
- All training sessions include:
- Overview of the instrument and maintenance procedures
- Tutorial on control and analysis software
- Review of experimental design
- Training sessions do NOT include user data collection.
- Users don’t need to bring anything.
- Training times vary by instrument, typically 2-4 hours.
