The CMI offers Training and Access on analytical and preparative protein liquid chromatography instruments and select Data Collection Services.  

 

Preparative chromatography on the AKTA Pure FPLC system with fraction collector, is used for protein purification by size-exclusion chromatography and ion-exchange chromatography.

Analytical chromatography on the single-pump Agilent Infinity 1260 HPLC system with autosampler and detectors for UV fluorescence, is used for rapid small-scale analytical size-exclusion chromatography of proteins. 

 

Solvent Compatibility

CMI chromatography systems are tolerant of Aqueous Solvents Only. CMI systems are NOT compatible with certain solvents, including acetone, acetonitrile, DMAc, DMF, DMSO, THF, TCE or concentrated acids.
